Turbo snail

Don’t know if this is the right forum or not, but I noticed this hanging out of my turbo snails shell yesterday. Seems to just move with the flow. Was hoping someone here as seen before or has an idea what it may be.

I believe this is sex appendage. Two of my Mexican turbos developed a similar looking scary appendage. One of the two started spewing eggs. The thirteen others did not develop this. Males I guess.

Thanks! Looks just like it lol. I took him out to get some bubble algae off his shell and put him back and it was hanging out and I thought for a second I pulled a piece of his body off trying to get it to release of the container!
