Turbo snails are... AWESOME

Nerites usually can right themselves. Trochus/turban are pointy but in my experience, can usually right themselves. The only ones I've had that issue with are astreas.
I know mine are nerites, and I've had to flip a couple over... but maybe I didn't give them enough time to do it themselves lol.

I really want an urchin - my lfs had some really cool purple and red pincushion urchins that were super active. Might have to get one later on. :)
Just depends if you have the tank algae to support them. They kill the GHA.

Hmmm maybe should have picked one up... if you run out of gha can you feed them? Like nori sheets on a rock of something?
Possible but they just don't move that fast and if inhabitants don't eat nori within a limited time it starts decaying and flowing around the tank. As mine finish off my GHA I may have to give them to my LFS or another reefer because I don't want them to go hungry.

I break off little squares of nori, fold it in half and hold it with tweezers until the turbo grabs on. I was rubber banding nori to rocks, but half the time it would break up before they finished it and end up in the filter.

Good idea!

Too bad... ever since I found out they carry random stuff around and can wear little tiny hats, I've wanted one. Lol.
