Tuxedo Urchins vs. Decorative Macroalgae

Will a tuxedo urchin eat cactus halimeda, string of pearls, red hex, or blue hypnea? I’d like to get one but don’t want to sacrifice my cool macros!

If you want a macroalgae tank, don't get an urchin.

A tuxedo probably won't eat too much of any of those (except *maybe* the halimeda) if you have a decent amount of coraline and/or hair algae present. The only macro mine has really chowed on with gusto is udotea. It will definitely try them on as a fashion statement though.
