Tuxedos

Are tuxedo urchins mixed reef compatible, or do they cause havoc to corals, etc.? I used to have a purple pincushion, and he was like a bulldozer! I haven't added anything for a while, and getting the itch for something new [emoji1]

I have one in my sps tank doesn't cause any problems every once in a while he'll pick up a snail and that's about it. Keeps the tank nice and clean and keeps my coralline algae from spreading too much

Mine will carry small stuff around, mostly shells and little rubble rocks, but haven't had any issues, doesnt bulldoze any frags or anything. I don't think they have the carrying capacity of some of the other species. I'll always have at least one in my tank, cool little creatures.

Tuxedos are well behaved. They don't cause me the same problems as other types of urchins.

I've had the same one for almost 2 years now and it always skirts around my frags. I get more problems from my snails than the urchin.
