Twin arc mh bulbs

Has anyone ever heard of these. I found some while searching for replacement bulbs. The idea is each mogul bulb has 2 color color temp. The bulb will alternate between say 12k and 20k each time the bulb is turned off. It also seems the bulb would last twice as long.

Not a great idea, unless you have them off long enough to cool the inner switch so that it changes colors everytime. Thats what most complained about, it doesn't switch all the time.

I can see that being an issue since the cool down could be about 15 minuted before firing.
