the lawnmowers really seem to have lots of personality. the tank is looking nice. no worries bout the pics they are difficult to take of a tank anyways.

dang did i have a bad experience last night! My rose bt decided to travel last night and somehow got sucked into my filter...it didnt get chopped up but was very close...i did manage to get him out in one piece and laid it on a rock. This morning it is looking better and has a good grip on it..it was sad to watch the maroon clown swimming aroung it...almost like it was nudging it saying "hey buddy! You ok? Wake up!"

its been a while so i'll catch everyone up. the tank i thought was 60 gal was a 46 bowfront. stupid mistake....i have since upgraded to a 75 gal tank and made some nice additions. more flow, better filtration and lighting. the tank looks great! i'll post some pics when i get home tonight. i have added some really nice zoas, palays a slipper coral, shrooms, goby, coral beauty and a green bubble tip. cant wait to show off some pics!

For it's age it looks good, Give it time and it will mature up nicely.

You may want to consider painting your pipeing with Black Krylon
Fusion paint as it keeps the algai growth in them down.

Be careful with that Xenia, it can grow like a weed.

thanks for stopping by harry! yeah, the xenia grows like weeds! thats why i put the palays next to them. they seem to keep them from crossing to the rest of the tank. i kinda want the jungle look in that part. here are some more pics. im working on a sump to put in the cabinet at the moment with a 20 gal tank which will also house my protien skimmer. is the coraline growth on the pipes bad? i kinda like the look. if you are refering to the second pic above....i added a black back ground and the pipes seen in the pic are on the other side of the glass

hey all! havent been around in a while so heres a little update.
once my fuge really took off i added a mandarin goby that is really enjoying his new home. on top of the pods he enjoys, he readily accepts bloodworms and shrimp. ive added a few zoas and palays and finally got my elegance dialed in. its amazing how much wrong info is out there on them. i also recently noticed some perrty lime green with purplish polyps monti on a piece ive had since the beginning. not sure how it got there but its there. my phone cant get a good enough pic so im gonna have to find a nice camera to use.my picsjust dont show the color
