Two Foxfaces

I'm fairly sure I know the answer to this but has anybody had success keeping two foxfaces? I've got a foxface lo right now (which my wife loves because it is the biggest fish in the tank) but I really want to get a magnificent. I was planning on taking the lo in to use towards credit on a magnificent but for my wife's sake I figured I'd check to see what people thought before I made the switch. The magnificent would be about 3/4" smaller and the tank is 8' long and 22" wide (180g). Everything is getting ready to transition over from my 90g so they would be going in to the new tank at the same time.

X2 I don't recommend this at all. It's been done, but it's the exception, not the rule. Far more fail than succeed, anecdotally.

If you are going to do it, now would be the time so you can add them together and neither one can establish a territory.

I have two. One larger and one smaller, the smaller one was added last. Initially no aggression, after months of piece the dam broke and these guys went after each other something fierce, fortunately it only lasted a few days, but they both were ragged, now no issues. hope it stays that way. They have cohabited for about eight months now

As stated by others you roll the dice, like I said no issues now, If the battle is over and they have established who is boss, great! I can't really say if this truce is permanent, but its been months since I've seen aggression between the two.Good luck with your endeavor. My tank also host 6 tangs and a trigger
