Just an FYI, you can buy the wireless module for each. I think they run $30ish new. It might be less a headache and cheaper overall for you.

Glws either way

I'm a little new to these pumps, but how are these not the wireless? Don't they both clearly say "W" on the controller? I thought that was the indication of the wireless model. Is it possible someone removed the RF unit from these at some point? Just curious, thanks for the help!

It’s $45. Just bought one about 3 days ago because of a similar issue. But yeah, it’s a really simple fix.

So is there no reliable way to know for sure if you're really getting a wireless version, at least when buying used?

Thank guys, I know this is a "for sale" thread, but I'd appreciate the help!

Ask for photos of the front of box, serial number on the back of box and serial number on back of pump controller. Granted, that doesn’t mean that the seller couldn’t have taken the rf module out. In that case ask for photos of the inside of the pump controller and verify that the rf module is actually present.

This is what it looks like with it present.

The W is there on both models. It’s “lit” up when the rd module is there

Sorry man, that really stinks. I'm assuming you bought them used from someone, and not from a store where you can return them? Or dispute the charge with your CC company? I hope everything works out for you.
