Two T5s enough for my tank?

Tank is 18" high and T5s 4" above tank. I'm using 15000k 24w + 22000k 24w. Lux reading on the water surface is 22k (440 PAR), cannot get the number under water.
Do you guys think it's ok for my clams?

Not a T5 guy but it seems borderline and could go either way. Might help knowing the bulb and fixture brand. I'd bet you get a few responses either way and would need a par measurement to know for sure.

Yes clams seem fine and most of them show growth but not as fast as I expect.

How are the nutrients and elements looking? Maybe something else missing that is holding back growth.

Which clam species are you keeping and want to keep in the future? Different species exist at different depths in the ocean so they have varying lighting needs. Take a look at: https://www.advancedaquarist.com/2011/3/inverts

The deresa and squamosa will probably be fine. I would worry about the maximas and if you have a crocea.

Yes two tanks with same fixture. I'll take a better pic another day.

Agreed, seem pretty perfect. Think you went the right direction with more light.
