Hello everybody, so I sold my townhouse on may 27 2015 and afters six months of searching, living with in-laws (never again just in case you were wondering).we finally found a fixer upper on an acre of land here in central florida. We have an addition room 33' ×15'. Problem was the floor was an old porch and 3" low on the long wall.
So 4000 pounds of mortar later I have a level floor.
So I've progressed over almost 4 years of reefing from a 55 to a 75 to a 180. I've still got the Marineland 180 and just purchased a hazy 240 acryllic 8 ft tank I'm polishing the tank while building the corner bar. The 180 is going to be my reef acro dominant. And the 240 will be a fowlr .I will post updates soon thanks.

Got some tile board for the walls in my fish room behind tanks. Got the apex mounted some other controllers and my ro system. Also finally got my naso tang in the tank unfortunately I've lost 5 fish I kept most two or more years.during the move my livestock was kept in my shop at work for 5 months and we had an ammonia spike I didn't catch in time and had three jumpers during that time as well. I picked up a kole tang yesterday as well. Really getting excited now, after maintaining a 180 gallon reef in a town home for three years I'm getting to stretch my legs and really set thing up for success.

Finally got around to starting the tile in the main room ,this is a huge living room to be. Can't wait for the rest of the tile to be out of my way.then I can focus on the important things.

So ,it's been almost a month and unfortunately I haven't made the progress I'd have liked,I am glad to say tile is mostly done and my diatoms are mostly gone. Thanks in part to phosguard and some wc. I was having issues with my dual herbie overflow not dialing in. I am finding the can be pretty sensitive to WaveMaker action. I did get all my coral out of the rubbermaid sump and into a 20 long quarantine I setup. I am now a believer in quarantine for all new arrivals lol.my latest endeavor is the rockscape and I let all of you know that it is a p.i.t.a. to support a single tonga shelf that's over 24 " wide from just the short stem that it has underneath but I'm almost done. I purchased solid core pvc rod from amazon as my local acrylic guy said I'd be crazy to rely on a Single acrylic rod. Sometimes listening to experience is well worth it. And 1" Pvc solid core is only 11 dollars for 4' length that's a 30 gallon brute it's sitting on and I used marine two part epoxy to glue it in. It's sat over night and its extremely hard. I'm search now through my 300 lbs of reef rock I've accumulated over the years to find a suitable base peice to set this on. It will be cantilevered for a awsome effect, I'm going for two main stuctures and some scattered rubble and that will be it for the scape. Lots of flow. Also I'll be running dedicated circuits and my ethernet patch cord at 100'. As my apex needs firmware update since being disconnected for 8+months during the move. More updates to come.

Aquascape is almost where I want it,can't wait for tank to get a little more mature so I can get things settled. Also added some crushed up coraline rubble slurry to Kickstart some purple.

Time for an update, its been quite some time since I've posted on this thread but we had our baby boy and he is now 6 weeks old. But back on point I now have my RO system producing lower TDS from my well I'm finding it was more pressure related than anything and I just got my 240 acrylic back from a buddy who polished it since I did not have any time I just went to The Sawmill and got a 12 foot 3 inch thick Pine slab with a real tree Edge to make the bar top across the side of the 240 fowler. I also just finished my saltwater mixing station consisting of a 44 gallon Brute on wheels with a jebo DC internal pump I will post more pictures showing the tanks corner to corner soon

About two get my 44" wide overflow boxes from the acryllic shop locally he do beautiful work hopefully he'll have them ready today. My 240 was polished as well. The project was falling behind so I outsourced that part. Here's the two in place but reef tank lights are out,I'll get better pictures later,I still have to get my apex back online. Looking forward to automate some things. I won't start dosing until I get the angel into the 240 and some coral in the reef tank.
