Hey reefers, I'm in the acquiring stage of an upgrade. Only 70 gallons bigger than what I have but So much have been wanting to go to a longer and shorter tank. Also building an all glass sump up grade to handle the extra overflow out of a 125 g tank. I will be using some of my old equipment and upgrading slowly after it is up. Below is proposed pics of plumbing, which is a rough draft. Already know I'm going to move the manifold over to the frag/fuge feed. Also plans for the sump although baffles are not spaced out exactly but you'll get the gist of it.

96x30x24h Custom Aquariums 300 gallon tank
    72x18x24h glass sump
    Proposed lighting:
    4 x 250w Reef Brite MH pendants
4x 48" SB Reef Lights actinic Sbars
    3 x MP40's
    1 x MP60
May add a gyre on the back wall at some later date
    Pukani and Tonga Rock
Tropic Eden reef flakes 2" sandbed
Two Reef Savvy 20" ghost over flows
    Curve 29 skimmer
    2 x DCT 15000 returns
Will add link to current system, a few pics below if it does not work.

Tank has been ordered, this is going to be a slow build as I have some remodeling to do when the old tank is out. IMG_9898.JPG IMG_9554.JPG IMG_0335.JPG IMG_0320.JPG

I haven't bought hardly anything in a year, if I buy local it's from Jackson Fish and Coral. Greg's a good guy and has stepped up his game.

Yes I know Greg. I sold him some very high end fish about 3 years ago. He bought a lot of stuff from me. You will have a very nice tank

Thit build looks like my dream tank. Ever since I started I've wanted to have an external sump on the other side of the wall. Following.

I mess around in my garage more than with my actual tank, I enjoy it a lot.

It's a 230, it's a 25 yr old oceanic. I'm keeping my sump for another project for now. The tank needs a total reseal before I'd set it up again.
