I am taking some coral and fish for a friend. I have a 29 gallon tank with one already in it. Can I add another or does he go in the sump? Need an answer asap please

I would keep them separated. The established fish (yours) will likely harass and/or attack the newcomer.

If you don't mind the question here can 2 different gobies be keep in the same tank?

Depends on the size of the tank and how the gobies are introduced. If it's a large tank, and the two gobies are introduced at the same time, they MAY coexist. Whenever you have two species occupying the same ecological niche in the tank, there is a risk of conflict.

Thanks. Another reason to check here and not listen to the LFS.. I have a watchman and was thinking of adding another would and was told it should be fine. The tank is only 75 gallons.

I put two at same time of my 90 I don't think they got along b/c one would be out when lights were on then when lights were off the other one would show up. Went on a couple weeks till the night owl couldn't cut it.
