Nope. I have a clown, orchid dottyback, 6line wrasse, a peppermint shrimp, trochus, astrea, 2 chestnut cowries, and about a thousand stupid Collonista.

Here's a full tank shot with all the lights on. Toadstool is lower left corner.
Everything is doing great (minus my bounce shrinking...probably because of the increase in intensity)

Oh and a small brittle starfish-body about the side of a dime with a missing leg. His name is Bert.

My tank stays between 76.9 and 78.0F and my "neon green polyp Japanese toadstool" has probably quadrupled in size in the 5-6 months I've owned it. It went from a tiny wwc frag to easily 3 inches in diameter. It gets a TON of light and a crazy amount of changing currents. I also haven't messed with it since it got put there. (Obviously it is very happy). I don't think your temperature is at fault.

I don't think added particulates would hurt it, if anything I would think having lots of stuff to eat would be a benefit. I'm with the it's adjusting and or doing what leather corals do, and that's be weird and sometimes not do anything for long periods of time.

It may not be happy where it is, maybe not enough light? I would give it a little while longer and then consider moving it if there are no changes.

Thanks for the info!
I noticed today that after I moved him two days ago, he attached a second place-other than the frag plug. I think this is a good sign!

He still looks like he's shedding but his top is bumpy rather than smooth like I've seen previously.

I would give it more flow.

The Euphyllia opposite looks to be expanded with good coloration so I doubt it's lighting. Some Sarcophytons like mod or higher flow.

The hammer is doing wonderful but how do I increase flow there without increasing it for the hammer (which doesn't like flow)

Aww the paradox that is a mixed reef. :p :D
Wait and see if the Sarcophytons opens, it looks like it's trying to. If it does not open by the beginning of next week move it to an area of higher flow.
I only see one PH in the tank you might have to add another to attempt to make all the corals happy.

I moved the return to hit the front glass and bounce back at him. Let's see if that works. Only slightly increased the flow to the hammer. Also I reset the lights to original intensity.
I also have two koralia nano pumps that are hidden by the rock.

Just my experience that Koralia nanos are pretty much worthless in anything other then a complete softie tank. I used them once and was pretty disappointed. If you have the finances get a Mp10 and be done with it.

Really? Hmm I'll look into it. I went with it because it's cheap and creates current. I don't know much past that except the are still working lol

Ok! So I noticed that one of the edges is peeling away on it so that's the shed right?

they get that slight coralline-like shade right before they shed. +1 on the mp10 tho.

I think it is gonna be ok, increasing the flow was a good move. I would just let him be. I predict his polyps are about to pop back out. Toadstool leathers can do some really strange things sometimes. The shedding behavior always seems more bothersome to the aquarist than to the toadstool. I've seen some large plain jane brown ones shrink up to next to nothing for a couple weeks and then suddenly return in even larger form within short order.

I agree that its more bothersome to me! lol
Its a slow moving progression but they are coming out a little on the one side as pictured. No more yet.
