Ive been trying to smother this monti with putty, and unnoticed yet another weed popping up.

I know of some flatworms that could help you with your problem, but they have a reputation of being non-selective :D

Hahahahaha.

Well I guess I really can't complain if acros are starting to pop out of the nooks and crannies of my rock now.

No idea which on that is yet. I'll have to be a little more careful scraping the monti off the rock now.

Ha, it's just growing around the putty. Life is tenacious. Why are you trying to keep it from growing?
The monti? It's imo ugly and will take up space. Plus on top of that rock are two Christmas tree worm rocks. Porites corals. At some point before I got them, a crumb of monti fell in a crevice and , well that happened.

Isn't this like one of those "why do I have to be so good looking" posts on social media? ;)
Yup. First world problems for sure. :D

After struggling along and learning like most folks do for so long to grow stuff, seeing that little acro pop out just about killed me. ;Clown

Now to figure out acans. :(

Although in contrast, I just had to frag my two largest and oldest acros from the other tank due to a slow rtn and put them in this tank. All day yesterday on and off the tank and house smelled of angry acro as one by one the frags let go and died.

That's Reefing Baby!

How awful for you. My tank is a Dino heaven. You could frag your weed monti and send it to me. My tank is like sps Round Up. ;Dead
