Ugg. Busted my Hammer

Was moving/gluing my Aust. Hammer and accidentally pretty much split it in half and most just fell apart. I was able to salvage a small portion (maybe 3/8 an inch in diameter on the head) with a base that I could deal with and set it until I can figure out next steps.

Do you think it will recover? If there is a reasonable chance it will grow back out (albeit quite crooked!) I'm willing to wait it out.

He’s fluffed out, which most likely means it will make it. Just leave it be for a while and you should be in the clear

Looks ok. I split mine in half fragging it, glued it back together and it recovered very well.
