Yes they are. If you look real close at the tip there is a light pastel purple that surrounds the dark purple in the center. Really nice.

Here is a dual head I fragged, so you can see the size. The pic is right after fragging so its sucked all in. Its also under allot more white light so you can see it that way if you run more white light.
I really like this piece. My corals are under all LED's. GHL Mitras fixtures. Spectrum goes from around 18 to 10K peak to 18k during the day.
