I have no idea what this is.. The tank has been going about a month now. I watch it pretty closely and don't recall this being in my tank.. It just kinda popped up a few days ago.. I have asked around a couple places locally and no one has any idea!!! Hoping someone may know!!

The body is about the size of an m&m (regular not peanut :p) and is kinda a seaweed green with little tendrils coming out from it.

Hmmm It could be a sponge with spaghetti worms.. Not sure.. It does look like that could be it.. May have to hope this is the case.. Just been worried it is something that will harm my tank..

Can you scrape and syphon it out? Then you wont have to worry about it.
I had thought about trying to do something like that.. just was hoping to know what it is first.. in case disrupting it would release toxins and such.. it is on the side of my rock with me ever lovely hammer corals on it..

I was thinking sponge.. but almost all of them have a rough texture.. this is smooth very little texture on the main body of it.. Am keeping an eye on it to see what it does.. so far seems to just filter feed and not bother anything so leaving it alone for now..
