All normal. Not all the tentacles can be perfect.I've noticed "bumps and lumps" in the other tentacles as well....there's a few that just lack uniformity, they have some kinks and stuff in them....I believe this torch to be healthy (it's splitting, it's HUGE....never seems to retract), I wonder if this is normal or is a mutation of some sort like mentioned above?
Yes, my hammer also does this:My torch had a tentacle like that. Both ends had the glowing tips. Must just be some sort of mutation in the tentacle.

Yes! Very normal. It just means the torch is happy and is growing bigger!
