Unbalanced Nutrient

Hello... newbie here. Looking for some advise. Currently getting red slime on my tank. Tank is arnd 120G and several months old. My nitrate level is 28.5 and my phosphate is .07. I do have some macroalgae in my refugium but its not reducing my nitrates fast enough. I am also running GFO but recently shut it down since my phosphate was fetting low. I feed frozen once a day and i rinse the frozen brine in ro water b4 feeding. My friend gave me a bottle of NoPox and was wondering if i shld dose my tank to reduce my nitrate. Any advise is appreciated...

Organic carbon dosing is likely to make cyano worse, which thrives on organics. Reducing organics is usually among the best ways to deal with cyano, along with manual removal.

Pictures of the red slime in white light would help. Probably cyano

Is it on rocks and sand too? A little cyano is not necessarily any problem.
