Hi Everyone:
It’s time for an upgrade as my 65g is becoming to small for my corals and friends after three full years of growth.
I was lucky to come across this 180g Pro-Clear, Pro-Star Rimless and Stand for a $1,000 CDN at my favorite LFS.
The glass sump had been damaged and the stand had a few scratches, but for grand, bought it.

So this starts my upgrade build progress which I plan to complete by December 20

2 week update
The build goes well, the water test was successful, just a couple of unions needed an extra snug. So we are dry.

Fiji pink was washed and put in, along with saltwater.

The basement sump project was completed, along with 2-300w heaters, a controller, a return pump, a Marine Pure brick, an ATO, and some 3 year old Carib Sea live rock. Used fritz turbo start.

The last two fish going into the 180g:
Yellowtail Bristletooth Tang
Red Sea Sailfin Tang

To join:
Blue Tang
Yellow Tang
Group of Lyretails
Bangaii Cardinal
Royal Gramma
Orchid Dottyback
Mandarin
Black Clown Pair
Skunk Cleaner
Red Fire Shrimp

Update to new additions:

Last night in went the last two tangs from QT.
6 hours in the isolation box in the DT.
Released after dark.

A couple of flashes by the (larger) YT to the (smaller) Sailfin Tang (both zebrasoma) over an hour when lights came on but now, back to peace.

The new yellow tail tang, is just doing his thing, not bothering anyone.

From QT to isolation box to DT (night release) worked well.

Uncle99 180G Automation.
Semi-Automated the system.
It will now run 100% stable at least 2 weeks with no intervention except feeding.
Water changes discontinued.

Progress has been amazing to see, well done!!!
