Hi all
Quick post - I received a torch coral around 2 weeks ago. Has been looking lovely and fully extended, until the last day or so.
It seems as though the right side is a bit extended and bleached. It doesn't retract those tentacles when the flows turned off.
I've attached a video from around a week ago and a couple photos from tonight for reference. Bit hard to spot in the light but I can turn on whites and take new ones if necessary. Just don't want to screw around with it too much.
Parameters from tonight :
Nitrates: 20ppm
salinity: 1.026 (bit concerned about this. I calibrated on sunday using rodi and have ordered 35ppt solution due friday to recalibrate)
Alk : 8.6
Ph: 8.2
ammonia: 0
phosphate: 0.56
Temp: 78F
Tldr - bit of a change for tentacles on the right - worried?
