I love my pineapple sponges and encourage them to grow. They seem to love Phyto-Feast.

You will notice a lot more of that as your tank matures, different colors too... I have pink, white, black, orange, and green sponge... All of it is non photosynthetic, so it will grow where there is no or very low light
