Dang buddy. Don't they get up to a foot long? What a cool and unique fish.
Yeah, think they get about a foot or more from the research I’ve done.
Mine, named (The Boogeyman) is around 7-8" Doesn't seem to be growing much more, that I have noticed, possibly because of its environmental restrictions?
I hand feed him frozen chunks usually. (don't actually know if it's male or female)
Got it from a guy getting out if the hobby about 15 years ago, and was housed in a 60 gal cube tank. I've never seen another in the hobby, but haven't looked either.

Seriously awesome. I'm sometimes jealous of those old school people that got rarities before collection laws were more of a thing.

Did it snatch a whole cube?
Yup!
Actually bigger than the "cube" you're probably thinking of.... I buy the monster flat packs of brine, mysis, etc.

Cut a chunk, usually around 1" square. Hold in front of a power head to feed the other fish a little. He eats the rest...lol

Takes it out of my fingers usually

Stunning man!! Love that fish
We will see how observation QT goes. That one is brave and out and about a lot. The second one is hiding and hasn't come out when feeding. Not worried yet since it's been only 24 hours. It might need to get comfortable. I did move the rock this afternoon to check that it was alive, it was swimming.

Other rarer fish I will get is a Chaoti leopard wrasse and a vivienne. I really like the bluestar Leopard I got in January and it was easy enough to get to through quarantine.

Chaoti just has a unique pattern for a fish. Last wrasse on the stocking list I'll eventually add is a royal pencil wrasse.

It's a freshwater fish, but I own a silver arowana. I swear to god, this fish has a deathwish. He has jumped onto the floor 5 times to the point where we put weighs on the lid. He jumps during cleaning time and it drives me crazy.
Oh, and he likes to bite my fingers and the siphon during cleaning time too.
Nevertheless, still love him! Super personable!

My bicolor blenny attacks me when I clean the tank. I named him Jaws. Mean little terd.

I have pirahnas as well. They just recently started hitting the top of the water at night. I think they are frightening eachother in the dark. I will be absolutely devastated if one commits suicide. Those dumb doodooheads.

I also have a Candy Basslet (Liopropoma carmabi). Sorry this pic is not as good as the others. I need to dig my actual camera out.
