Looks like a type of bryopsis to me. @Jose Mayo you familiar with different taxonomy of bryopsis?

Yes, the photo remembers Bryopsis hypnoides in something, but it is impossible to say with certainty, with this quality of image.

Thanks. I'll try to take a better photo tomorrow. I just happened to notice the odd looking alage in the photos I was taking of the baby fungias growing on the dead one. Or I suppose it doesn't mater what type it is right? I should just get some fluconazole and be done with it right?

Yes, it does not matter the species; All species of Bryopsis have ergosterol in their cell walls, which makes them sensitive to Fluconazole.
