We found this. Unsure exactly what it is. I poked it and it didn't react, felt spongy but solid and didn't seem to react. I think I disturbed an aptasia while poking this thus the stringy thin things, but otherwise unsure.

I do yes...

*does some searching*

Sea Hare Eggs? That is interesting seeming as my sea hare has been alone in the tank almost two years. Do they store eggs from a previous encounter? I imagine it is near end of life soon and I am worried about that and the nitrate spike from it passing in there.

Should I worry about an explosion of new sea hares?

I apologize for the abruptness of my response but:

Yeah, sea hare eggs; no, they don't store sperm to fertilize with later - they sometimes just lay eggs unfertilized; no, you won't have an explosion of new sea hares.
I know at least some sea hares are hermaproditic, but they’re not self-fertile and to my knowledge they can’t store sperm to fertilize eggs at a later date like some animals can. So, if you only have one the eggs are probably not fertile. Plus, even if they are fertile, the sea hares I’ve looked at have planktonic larvae - so they’ll be eaten or pulled into filters, killed by powerheads, etc.
Assuming you have a sea hare, they're sea hare eggs - if you only have one sea hare, they're infertile (so they won't hatch); if you have multiple, they may be fertile, but I wouldn't expect any to survive to grow up for you.
