Unknown starfish/serpent

I've seen these sticking out of my live rock for months, I thought they were worms. Today I saw a whole one and its a starfish. I have many of these, maybe hundreds. Does anyone know what the are. The whole one is about the size of a quarter. The legs sticking out are also little bit skinner than a toothpick, maybe about the diameter of a paper clip. They have red/maroon and white stripped legs

I can't recall the name of them at the moment, but they are harmless. I have tons of them in both of my tanks.

Yes, that sounds correct. I was trying to think of the scientific name with no success.
