Anyone have nonconspecific fish that are like best friends for no reason?

My engineer goby and my dottyback are secret lovers I think. The dottyback literally sleeps on top of the eningeer goby in his pic. It's so weird especially when the purple dottyback is supposed to be really aggressive.

My maroon clown and golden head goby are best friends. My goby will lay on top of my clown. Then through on in my Valentini puffer to the mix....weird...lol
