Tank is doing well but water change was delayed for about 3 weeks due to various life things going on. The pictures are from the day after this last water change.

I am now going down to 50 percent water changes as I want to see if the pederson shrimp eggs that keep happening will survive. I am dosing now a small amount of all for reef and Aqua Forest Power Elixir since not a full water change.

Peaches is also doing well and back to her goofy self. On a good note also, I was informed that Maple's and Peaches' parents may be having another litter. We will know more in a few weeks and we will get pick of the litter free. But unsure if pregnant and not getting hopes up to much. These will be the last as they are an accidental litter.

Seems that the gonipora will be gone. Few spots left but from the saltwater mix up and the livestock constantly crawling on them, they will not make it.

Tank looks amazing! Just picked up one myself. How did you shorten/modify the ai blade mounts to fit on the tank?
Sorry for late response. I used a Dremel and cut each piece.

I will warn you now to replace the pump that it comes with. I haven't heard anything back but it will fail. Went through 2 or 3 and all caused issues.

Any of the new AI Prime download and use mobius. The AI app does not work well. If you go with the AI Axis pump, I recommend going with the 40 if it will fit and believe it does. You can not use the pump at least axis 20 past 90. At 95 the pump starts to shut on and off constantly. Safe to keep at 90.

The random flow rotator nozzle is noisy and seems to fail. Innovative marine makes one that works well. You will have to make a bit modification with fittings to sit right. Mainly cutting. Then finding a clip to put in back to sit flush. But super simple.

If you have lots of evaporation, don't waste time on buying their lid. I can link and show you a flush lid that looks nice. But will need air pump.

Sorry for late reply.

Well still waiting for the worst of the hurricane here in the space coast. Lost power about 5ish hours ago. I am usually prepared for this with battery bubbler and such. Well none of them work or can find. Luckily I don't have but 1 flaming prawn goby, 2 shrimp and a handful of snails and hermits, about 10 maybe in total. Will do some oxygenating in morning. Will get generator on after it passes.

Since both sets of folks live beach side my folks and in laws are staying with us.we all get along so no issue.

Well, here is the last picture of tank taken a few days ago.

Got luck here in jupiter. Few tornados went around but no damage here
Did lose power though. 20241010_100348.jpg

On the battery. Says i got 13 hours left. I'll fire up the generator if it gets close.

Hope you get power back soon buddy

Can't see name or model. What did that run you?

Just got power back

Ecofllow River 2

Its that one. Same price as i got it at actually. Powers the axis 40 for 17 hours at 30% speed. It charges back up in only a couple hours to which is nice.

I'm sure there are cheaper options but this thing is pretty nice.

Hope your power is back soon.

Thank you. Power came back on at about 11am Thursday. Just after my last post lol. Everything is still happy and healthy.

So tank is doing well. As my life has changed I can not keep up with 100 percent water changes with the layout I have. I have been doing all for reef and aminos.

These pictures were shortly after lights turned on a couple days ago.

Unfortunately sometimes during one night, one of my shrimp went missing for a couple days. I checked everywhere then I just happened to see it was stuck to the top of the glass lid. Some how it jumped and was stuck to the glass bottom. This is looking through the lid.

Tank is still doing well. Haven't done a Water change in over a month I think. Been doing all for one reef. Also feeding aqua forest amino as well as benepets taking is approaching 9 months.

I also added another frogspawn today and setup a new branch to put it in. It was closing back up for not but is a yellow slight gold color base. I had to move the plate as the hermits were all over the corals in the sand and damaging them. The helmet plate had skeleton showing from the hermits constantly walking over it. And why I believe the gonis didn't do well. The pink is still hanging on so put it up top to see if it will recover. Still saw a hermit crawling on top even though it's at very top....I almost got a pic of the goby but very shy. Will be looking to add more to hopefully encourage to roam more.

I may add yellow/orange gorgonia/sea fan on left side to mix in more color.

It might be time to remove a couple of the big hermits. They are crawling all over the coral. While my frogspawn, elegance and torch have been pretty safe. My symphyllia and plate coral as well as gonipora have been constantly irritated. I even raised the gonipora to top of tank where the hermit, knocked it back down. It was actually doing good and starting to open more. Now I'm seeing my hermits rubbing their shells against the plate and grabbing on to it. And the symphyllia was ripped on side where another hermit was climbing and pulling on the tissue.

Other than the this, other corals seem to be happy. What I thought was an new head forming on my torch that is splitting turned out to be a worm of some kind lol.

Morning shot before going into work. Plate is probably a goner due to all the crabs constant crawling on it. Hopefully maybe it will form some new buds if I'm lucky. Everything else is still doing happy and well. Elegance isn't a morning coral today lol but usually like that over night.

Someone Thursday night or Friday morning decided they didn't like our mailbox. This was done purposely as the only part of mailbox itself damaged was front edge of box and lid that was pushed in. There was no paint marks from vehicle and brush laid curbside was not ran over. Even the iron decorative support bracket was broken.

So yesterday wife and I went to Lowe's and started the rebuild. The original post will be hard to remove with concrete. But it is loose. I might be able to pull out and reinsert new post if I'm lucky. Will probably scrow another board to it and use a jack to lift out.

The new post still needs work. Will be borrowing a power saw to cut a block out of support bracket and will replace when the new iron horse shelf bracket arrives. I also already did a run of boiled linseed oil to the wood. I'll be looking at a clear marine sealer to finish and protect. We are also waiting for the new house stickers to go on as well. We picked up some accent T brackets to add further support and add to the look. I'll have to drill some relief holes first before adding the screws in.

Of course being in a hurry and lots of things going on that day, I didn't blow off the grass from mixing edging and trimming the front.

What is sad is It has been an emotional, physical and financial troubles year. We are grateful for what God has provided and have always come through. While it is just a mailbox, it was one of the projects we did that made us feel more at home. Hoping this new one will give us the same feeling.

Of course cameras didn't pickup anything. Not setup right to see the mailbox. But I have bought 5 new blink cameras which will be here tomorrow as well as their doorbell. I already have 3.5 arlo cameras. .5 because one is not wanting to charge. I also have ring doorbell I will be moving elsewhere. This should give me the coverage I need.

Was Quite a bit busy. My folks were visiting family up north so it was just my wife and in laws over. We had a great time. I was able to bring my first turkey then spatchcocked and smoked for 4 hours finishing it in the oven along with ribs. Wife fixed up all the sides and took care of the mess while we both picked up.

Was also able to finish up my new mailbox. Wife is waiting on our letters and address graphics to come in to attach to mailbox

So I did one more coat of linseed oil and waited. I then did 2 coats of Rust-oleum marine spar varnish clear. Since it is also UV protected, it should holdup well. I still need to put the protective plate at bottom for mower and weed eater. It was very difficult to pull the old post out. Even tried some leveraging and floor jack. What ultimately got it out was hitting it with a sledge hammer to break up the stuck debris and loosen on every side. I then was able to pull up and out with the help of the wife. Set the new one in and then added and pact the quick create around and poured water. Pretty happy with the results.

Picked up a Holy Grail torch today, wife gave the okay for birthday/Christmas lol. I am losing the lobosymphyllia. I have removed some of the macro algae as it was getting quite big and overgrowing the lobo so trimmed it back. I also removed a few hermits to see if that will help curve them from climbing all over it. Other coral are pretty happy.
