Unusual 30 gal tank setup advice?

I acquired an interesting 30 gal tank from the Science Museum here in St. Louis. I'm narrowing down what to do with it. I'm thinking small peaceful, hardy fish only. I'm doing a heater, powerhead, and canister, with black sand (caribsea tahitian moon) and 10 lbs of rock. For fish I was thinking zebra dartfish, neon gobies, chalk bass, yellow stripe cardinalfish. No corals, just some plastic plants. Any thoughts or advice? snails? invertebrae? I was thinking coral rubble, small bag of carbon and sponges in the canister. Any advice is appreciated thank you :)

Thanks! This is my first tank that won't have a skimmer, which inverts would do well? or not do well in those dirtier condition
? Yea the tank is so weird, the little gobies will be amplified and look 3 to 5 times larger than they appear lol

Wow hey neighbor!!! :) I wanted to do jellyfish so bad but it's got many square corners. Then I researched upside down jellyfish but the tank is rather tall with little surface area so no go :(
