Until the power goes out and your pump doesn't restart, nor does the siphon. Ask me how I know!
As long as the flow in the display is well matched to the flow capacity of the HOB overflow bubbles will not build up in the U tube. Without bubbles in the U tube the syphon is maintained. With the variable speed pumps it is easy to dial the flow to be just right to not be too fast and make a flushing noise but not so slow that bubbles build up. I turn my pump off 2Xs every day to feed and it starts up fine every time.

any magnets or is there a furniture grade magnet?
Just some Neodymium magnets, the ones I used are 1” diameter, I drilled a hole so they would be flush, in the doors and the stand and used construction adhesive to glue them in.

Weight test, I’m a pretty amateur carpenter, in fact this is the first piece of furniture I’ve built, I knew it was strong enough but still nice to see it with the weight on it.

Filled the tank up to leak test one more time, looks like my level bubble is just a bit off, resulting in about 1/8” difference in water level from left to right...should I try to level a bit more or is it enough to worry about??

Does anyone know the overflow rating on the aqueon 120 reef ready aquarium? I’ve had a hard time finding it

Are you doing a HOB overflow, or internal? Only reason I ask is I just went through this with a friend who was looking for a tank that could be drilled. Over 4 pet stores, every Aqueon, marineland, and topfin tank we could find was tempered and could not be drilled.
My 75g Marineland is only tempered on the bottom.

Finished up basic sump plumbing, got my return pump on and the return flow balanced out. Gonna pull the pipe back out and paint it blue, next need to order some rock and sand..and I’m thinking seriously about a tunze wavebox, I really like the total water movement you can get with them.

Ok, well I decided I did not like how I had the piping ran, so I completely re-did it...and now that I’m looking at these pics I see that one of my returns isn’t level...so maybe not done with it yet...

Lights, check
Sand, rinsed , check
Got a couple of BRS titanium heaters, now just figuring out how I want to mount them because the suction cups are crap, and how I want to control them, I have a inkbird on my existing tank so I will probably use it, also I have about talked myself into an apex...and a doser, I manually dose my existing tank but it’s getting old, and when I go on vacation my alk drops from me not being here to dose it..

Well I’m not crazy about the way the shelf rock stacks, the straight lines just aren’t very natural, but I know that’ll get covered with coralline before too long and not stand out so much, I’ve still got to incorporate my existing live rock and corals in the open areas. I wanted lots of horizontal space for acros.

Made the big move yesterday, not really happy with the flow I’m getting out of my 2 old gyres, gonna get a tunze wavebox to work with the gyres and see how that works, i may get a couple of mp40’s and replace the gyres, would love to get the cords out of the tank.I really like the reefbreeders and 2 Lumenbars, still figuring out how I want to set them, using one of the sample programs that was in the manual right now, it tops out about 30% so should be good for now until I start raising them up for sps,
