I am one of many frustrated and confused cad lights customer. Bought it used from a local reefer, can’t say no to a good deal.

Everything is metric, why? Meh

I upgraded the sump size to a Trigger 34, tight perfect fit. Too large?

There are three holes on the bottom glass,
2 x .5inch ,
1 x 1.5 inch

Drain down to sump will be
1 x 1.5” and 1 x .5”

Should I make both drains to be reduced and plumbed into the sump sock section into 1” fittings

Or have large one drain into sock section and another smaller drain pipe into refugium section ?

As for the return , do you see some sort of reduction in flow I have a jecaod 6000 return pump, the fittings are .5 inch one return up.

Any pics or suggestions to get the most flow possible, mix tank focus with SPS dominant

Need to know if this is a good flow return.

Jebao 6500 - 1" inch outlet into 1" pipe reduced to a 3/4 metric bulkhead up into a 1" pipe reduced to 3/4 locline with 2 nozzles.
I am thinking of Splittint it into 'T' into another locline . So I would have 2 loclines with 4 nozzles. off of one pipe coming from the sump.
Makes Sense ?

Would that increase my flow ?

Bean Animal Flow
Main goose neck pipe will flow into the sump, it would be a 1.5" reduced to 1" into trigger 34 sump
1" half pipe reduced to 3/4 metric bulkhead into 1" pipe into trigger 34 sump

HELP!!! I want to make sure I maximize the most flow in into the sump and back up. I had a 60 cube, and I hated the flow, I like to have the best growth for SPS.

As for powerheads 2 x mp10's. Should I add more with GYRE'S ?

Hello,

I'm actually thinking about switching to Trigger Systems myself soon!

I have the larger artisan II model, but it comes with similar sizes and plumbing.

I do use a 5000l/day return pump, running through 3/4" pipes without reducers, it goes to the stock T with 2 nozzles. I did notice that one nozzle pushes more flow than the other "significantly".

I was thinking if i do switch to Trigger sys, i will use the same size plumbing, i would only reduce the drain line into the sump down to 1". Another option for me is to keep it 1.5" and replace the bulkhead if possible..

This is how i have my setup:
