Temperature controller is #1. Battery backup with passthrough power such as an Ecoflow River 2 to run a wavemaker in case power goes out would be my #2 upgrade.

Okay great thank you! Do you have any recommendations on clean up crew I was thinking
🧹 CLEANUP CREW
* 4× Trochus Snails
* 3× Nassarius Snails
* 2× Cerith Snails

For my 40g but I kind of want some more interesting options and am not sure if this is to much or not enough for my tank

a tuxedo urchin is always a fun addition to a tank and they are awesome at eating algae. Some hermit crabs might be nice too. But those snails should be fine. You kinda have to play around with your cleanup crew to match the algae growth in your tank.

In my 60g I have a small turbo snail, tuxedo urchin, about a dozen blue leg hermits of various sizes, about 10 astrea snails, ~6 nerites, a keyhole limpet, and a fighting conch.
