Hi all. I have had a 10 AIO up since November last year. In that 10 gallon I had 2 clowns, 1 6 line wrasse , 6 rbta , 2 hammers, 1 digi , 1 small zoa colony, 1 mushroom, some GSP and a Duncan. Along with some cheato and red macro see pic below.
The params of that 10 gallon have been. Fairly consistent at
Alk 9.0
Cal 450
Mag 1350
Ph 8.0
Salinity 1.026
Temp 78
Amonia 0
Nitrite 0
Phosphate.03
last Wednesday i setup a new 60 gallon with new sand and new rock besides a piece of bio plate that I took from the 10 and put in the sump. I used a large bottle of TurboStart saltwater bacteria. Yesterday I moved the fish , zoas and some GSP to the 60. As of this
Amonia 0.1
Trite 0.1
Trates 3
Alk 9.0
Cal 410
Mag 1240
Salinity 1.026
PH 8.0
Temp 78
Phosphate.0
I have had at least 2 people at the LFS tell me that I needed to wait 2 months before I move lps, sps and anemone over to the new tank.
Can anyone concur with that or is that not accurate. Of course I would want everything to live and do well and I guess the longer I wait the better but is 2 months necessary?
anyone else do this ?? What is the feedback. And thanks.
