Upgrading pumps mighty jet 538 questions

Can't make out anything in the picture but do you currently have 2 pumps for 2 returns? And you're hoping to just use 1 pump for both returns? Any reason you couldn't just use a y adapter?

I can't say for sure but I don't think the pump will come with one
