Setting up a new 210 gal aquarium. I would like to use everything from my 90 gal but I have a huge bubble algae issue. What do you guys recommend? My rocks have coral all over them and I would like to use them in the new tank. I am also told I should use fresh sand. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bubble algae? Do you mean Valonia? You can siphon them out during water changes and increase nutrient export to try to prevent any residual spores from regrowing

I would thoroughly recommend V for V based on massive cures in threads. ive never seen another compound do as well with the scourge

It’s working but I wouldn’t call it a miracle cure. Definitely knocked out a lot of bubble algae though. Probably 50%. In the last 3 weeks. But I will admit the tank had been neglected for a while. Going to take my GFO reactor off for a few weeks and see if that help.
