I have about 20 pounds of rock in the Red Sea nano plan on using that since it a year and half old far as the sand goes I going to buy new i done enough reading that i don’t want to take a chance. How about the water can I use it or should I start out with all fresh salt water? Can I add more dry rock the lifeshapes stuff to the 53 gallon or should i keep my nano going and cycle it in there?

You can move all the water over from the 20 gallon.

If I were doing this upgrade, I would get the additional dry rock curing in a rubbermaid or something. Then transfer it, along with the rock and water from the nano, and additional needed water into the new tank.
