Try using a lower resolution like 720p in mp4 format. Then press the three dots next to the photo icon, then select the video icon. The smaller the file size, the quicker it will play.

I'm not big into tech. Uploading to youtube then copy and paste the link here in the message is the easiest for me. I'm not a big YouTube fan and only use it to post videos here and sometime videos of my dogs to share with family.
Many videos posted here using the feature Matt shows require me to download the video before I can see it. To be honest I find that a bit of a pain and many times I just don't bother.
