Urchin gametes or poops?

I’ve occasionally seen these little balls pop on my sand, my urchin was literally on top of where these were 5 mins ago and I look and boom. I didn’t check or see if they were there beforehand. I’ve been waiting for it to release sperm for a gender reveal but no luck. So is this urchin poop or eggs? Or nothing urchin related at all? Pics:
