Couldn't figure out why my turbo snails kept dying. I would find it upside down on the bottom of the tank. I turn it over but it never eats again and it keeps falling off after that and slows WAY down. Well, today I captured this video of my urchin agitating my snail. I'm sure he was just trying to eat the gunk under him. Well, a couple hours after the urchin had moved on, the same snail fell off the glass. So this is definitely the culprit. Anyone else have a snail killing black urchin?

For some reason I don't think that the urchin is what killed your snail. They're just not equipped to do that IMO. That mouth that they have is small, plus they have to get through that hard shell first. A scared snail is very firm so to say... JMO, GL.

I wouldn't think so either. The urchin was actually pushing himself a little inside the shell. And then a few hours later I found the same snail upside down on the bottom of the tank, just like the others.
