Im in desperate need of a more diverse cuc, only have a few hermits and a couple of nassarius snails, i lost my 2 turbos in the ‘event’ lol what would you recommend? No macro but was considering getting something going as i have a spare chamber in the sump for it. Im very excited to get it installed, will be the centrepiece.

Macro asap will help with algae. As for CuC as diverse as you can be without adding something harmful. Long spine or tuxedo urchin are good for algae also

The Bacterial bloom you experienced most likely stripped oxygen from your water killing fish.. whenever you experience a bacterial bloom it’s important to oxygenate your water.. increasing flow through sump, running protein skimmer full blast and pointing power heads toward surface are all good methods to increase oxygen.

water change, add carbon and run UV 12 hours per day instead of 24/7 and during the day - not night as zooplankton and other life forms feed the coral and reproduce during night

You could try:
- emerald crabs
- peppermint shrimp
- lettuce nudibranch (if you have the algae to feed it)
- nerite snails
- money cowries (usually safe for corals)
- fighting conch
- BRISTLE WORMS (actually really important; they eat detritus, but sting)
- cerith snails
- brittle or serpent starfish
- maaaaaaaybe a sand sifting sea cucumber??? (idk depends on the size of the tank and depth of sand bed)
- tuxedo urchin (kinda sensitive, but hardier than the globe urchins (RIP Sir Spike :( )
- copepods, amphipods, mini brittle starfish, the tiny stuff
- you could try an arrow crab, but mine's a jerk! He is also growing quite quickly :P
