Hey guys! I wanted to start a strange build thread. I bought an established 140 gallon tank with all livestock included and wanted to document its progress. Tank was in rough shape with an over growth of mushrooms and way to much ditrus to imagine. Took about 9 hours to break it down and transfer it from the previous owner. The hoses kept leaking due to built up ditrus kn the gaskets. I did save all of his water. To remove the ditrus I would pump the water through a filter sock manually and pump it right back into the tank. I traded and sold allot of the soft corals from the tank to clear up some space and allow room in the budget for new live stock. Also built my own aquascaping using live rock and life rock shapes using e-Marco 400. Kept all extra live rock in sump to maintain enough beneficial bacteria. Progress pics as follows

If you really have 3 flame fairy wrasses, I would rehome 2 they will all be male soon! They always turn no matter what, and they will just kill each other. I always tell people to buy a single female which go male in no time and far less money! Great job and effort restoring the tank, happy reefing!
