Using chemiclean

I have cyano bacteria and I have found chimiclean in a pile of stuff. Can I use this even though I don't have a skimmer? Will a power head facing up be enough or do I need a air bubbler.

I think you'd be fine. If possible, I'd just use an air pump and airstone if you have one lying around.
