Possibly. As long as you don’t get any epoxy on the flesh it might help. If you do get some on it you can kill the flesh and it will take longer. Nothing good happens quickly with reef tanks.Would it go faster though if I fill in the gap so it has more surface area to grow onto? As of now only 3 small points connect the plug to the rock, if I fill in with epoxy it’ll be able to grow down smoothly?
Ya I’ll be really careful not to touch the flesh Thanks for taking the time to help!Possibly. As long as you don’t get any epoxy on the flesh it might help. If you do get some on it you can kill the flesh and it will take longer. Nothing good happens quickly with reef tanks.
No problem. Be sure to use the reef stuff 2 part and watch your skimmer as the chemicals can cause it to overflow!Ya I’ll be really careful not to touch the flesh Thanks for taking the time to help!
Update for those wondering. So I filled in gap on my Favites, and then glued down this other one using just the epoxy so it wouldn’t have gap. I’ll update in a month to show progress of growthNo problem. Be sure to use the reef stuff 2 part and watch your skimmer as the chemicals can cause it to overflow!
This coral / war coral grows very quick, wouldn't be much of an issue with or without it but they sure do encrust cleaner with the use of let's say maybe a bit of glue or epoxy.
Thanks for info. Do you have any pictures of some examples of yours friend? This coral / war coral grows very quick, wouldn't be much of an issue with or without it but they sure do encrust cleaner with the use of let's say maybe a bit of glue or epoxy.

Beautiful tank!
Middle left on the bottom of my tank. Started as a dime sized piece and spread over the plug and to the acrylic. It’s almost a year old.
