I am starting up a 100 Gallon and wanted something different. I was originally going to use Carib Sea Tahitian Moon for the black look, but now have decided to take another road. I was thinking about going bare bottom and creating a bed covered with Zoas. The ideal now is no use frag tiles and lace the bottom of the tank so the zoas could attach and spead on them easier. Should I use ceramic tiles or arogonite? I was leaning more towards the ceramic because they don't crack over time. Any thoughts of suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I think this is a fun and new approach and would love to hear everyones thoughts. Thanks guys and girls. Have a great day and stay salty =)

Go with what you feel is more aesthetically pleasing as either will work but, like you noted over time you might see cracks in aragonite.

Yeah, I was just trying to get some input and see if anyone else thought this was a good or bad idea. Has anyone ever done this before?
