using mobius with an upgraded mp40wES

I have a question for Ecotech users...
I purchased 3 older mp40's that I upgraded to quiet drive and installed the mobius chip. I downloaded the mobius app but it can't find the mp40's.
I read where some people are saying to reset the mp40 but the driver is new, do I need to do this? I can get to the screen that says to update the legacy device and no further.

I found one of them so far by cycling the power off and back on while the app was searching for devices.

eventually they all were found and after some trial and error I was able to update the firmware
