Uv and cupramine

I had to dose cupramine in my DT I am removing the copper and curreent level is .10 is it safe to start UV again?

Not quite yet. Bring your copper levels back down to zero before starting your UV. UV will "break" the bond of chelated copper treatments turning it into a lethal concentration of ionic copper - not a situation you want to bring yourself in.

Do you have any sand and/or rocks in your tank? You risk copper being absorbed in these and leach out at a later stage so keep that in mind.

Are you using a reliable copper test kit? :)

Hannah copper checkerIs what I am using . I have rocks and its bare bottom

The Hannah is not apparently suitable for low level copper testing. A number of folks see false high readings.
