I am building my first reef tank and considering adding UV to my system. I am considering getting a small 110gph sicce pump and mounting an eheim reeflexUV+e 500 to the “ceiling” of my sump cabinet. I would just run the 1/4” tubing from the pump in the filtration section and then have it flow through the uv and into my return section.

Is this worth adding to a system of my size? Any opinions on the eheim uv?

I would wait on a UV until necessary to be honest... They're great when needed but if you don't need to spend the money off the bat I wouldn't :)

Apologies I can't be more help.
