UV for evo 13.5

Hey,

I'm dealing with a major ich outbreak. Unfortunately, I didnt have a proper hospital or QT tank set up and lost all but one fish.

Just wondering is anyone has used a UV on the evo for parasites and if so which one.

I saw the green killing machine fits as well as the Auqa shield. I believe the flow on the green can be adjusted but you can't with the shield. Not sure if either one is good.

At that size you're pretty much limited to very small UVs. I'd probably try the Green Machine, but if you already lost most of your fish there's no guarantee the UV will help (definitely worth it down the road).

Yeah at this point I'm looking for limited any possible problems in the future. I'm going fallow for the recommended time so it would really stink to have an outbreak again after (I understand it's possible).

Do you know if the green machines flow can be slowed enough to be effective?

i bought a 16 dollar one off amazon and put it in chamber three and let it go at night and worked good for me for analgae bloom
