Is this light like this going to be a problem. I’m dealing with dinos and trying to get rid of them with a UV sterilizer.

Don't look at it or touch it, make sure its sealed properly, don't dose bacteria (if you do turn off the uv). I just bought one recently, a little mini drop in the sump one and my water clarity is insane

Don't see any picture but UV light will damage anything that is exposed to it including your eyes and skin. The light should be completely enclosed inside something.

There’s a way to close it will it still work?
Most will be sealed and work within your return line. If you have a drop in one it'll do that

Uv kills everything. If you're dosing copepods, bacteria, anything alive turn it off so that it doesn't kill it

Yeah, no need to add it now. Bulbs do go bad 6 to 12 months. Is your tank cycled?
Yes it’s cycled, I have coral too, I’m just dealing with Dino’s

Yeah a uv will rip through anything alive. Make sure you don't light shock your tank by making your water too clear, happened to my lobo
How do I make sure of that? My tanks 13.5 gallons I was going to run the uv at 24 hours for 3 days to kill Dino’s and then change it to 12 hours a day

It would be a tight fit but possible. Just feeding them like normal fish. Manual removal, turbo snails, and Maybe an uchin would kill algae
