Hey community quick plumbing question on uv sterilizer’s. I’m planning on the I feed coming off a t section into the sterilizer, now my question is can I run the line from the output of it to the return line in a t section right before it goes up in the overflow box. Or is there a better way to do it then directly into the tank. Thanks in advance

That's exactly what I do, with a ball valve on both the input and output so that I can isolate the UV entirely for maintenance.

For normal use just leave one fully open and use the other to control flow through the UV.

I also have another ball valve between the in and out valves so I can force all the water either through the UV or direct to the return so I can blow out any crud in each section. Normally I leave that one fully open.
